Illustration Friday - 'Monster'

Another difficult one for me but here's my entry for Illustration Friday on the theme of 'Monster'. Acrylic on watercolour paper. As much as this guy isn't a monster there are elements in it I feel that indicate that he may be hiding something, could be Frankensteinish or something. What do you think?

He is certainly a very dark feeling guy; perhaps his shadow side coming through?

Maybee a bit of a monster - but I think, he looks like the big one - unfortunately I don't remember the name - the big clumsy, who loved all soft animals, but he hold them so tight, that they died - anyone remember that? I think, he looks like a soft monster. And I like him.

Reminds me of someone not-so-nice I used to date. Quite scary. But nonetheless, this is a most excellent illustration.

it looks like someone tormented, gazing at his reflection in a stream.

It's a fantastic painting, very atmospheric. To me it feels sad, which does relate to the theme of monsters I think. Sadness, loneliness, alienation. Great work.

A dark looming presence. Looking like he doesn't care a whiff about anything. Seems monsterish to me. Great job.

I don't think he really want to scare anyone. He does look sad and lonely. Very nice work.
