Illustration Friday - 'Speed'
This weeks IF theme is 'Speed'. I did this painting in uni depicting what we see out of a car window when we're rushing around. It's a bit mod and not my usual style but I like it.

this is exactly what it looks like, the blur and the blend of colour as it speeds past us, yet plays in slow cinematic memory in the mind.

I like this! It certainly does give the feeling of the landscape whoosing by... I love the little hints of objects beneath the blur.

This is great, illustrates speed, but in an interesting, vivid way.
I like it too! It really captures what happens when you relax your focus as you look out the window of a moving vehicle. Wonderful painting!
