Illustration Friday - 'Sorry'
The theme this week for IF is 'Sorry'. When I read this, this painting came to mind. It's a self-portrait in Acrylics and I've always thought it was a very moody painting.

Yes, it is very moody. Really looking contrite here. Nice job.
This has a very instrospective, melancholy feeling. I like the light and dark as well as the indistinct face. This worls well for the topic.
Self portraits are the hardest to do aren't they? I can never tell when I do them well. Yours is lovely

I like the way her face and form contrast with the dark background,. melancholy and a mysterious the look in her face. Lovely piece of work!
