15 Years Ago Today....
Michael and I were spending our first day as an offical couple. On New Year's Eve 1991/92 we went to the local theme park Adventure World with a big group who had hired the place out. It was a Christian event and the rides were all open till 9pm with the rest of the night including bands and a big countdown.
At around 11.45pm we went for a walk and ended up on the children's playground area chatting away. We'd known each other for at least 3 years and in that time we had been a couple once (very short lived) but apart from that just friends.

So, altogether we have been married for close to 11 years (this April), a couple for 15 years and known each other now for about 18 years. That's not bad seeing as we both only just turned the '30 something' corner in the last couple of years!

Where we started 'going out' at Adventure world (taken a year later)At 2 mins to midnight Michael asked me if I would 'go out with him' (be his girlfriend) and I said yes. We were 16 and 17 at the time. Within 3 years we were engaged (1994) and got married in 1996.

Very impressive. . . . As someone else who married young (20,) I think single life and dating are highly over-rated. Congratulations!
